Christmas music for brass - five accessible yet highly creative arrangements by Ed Hogan. Smaller music ministries will find great satisfaction in working up these settings, and larger groups will find a treasury of quickly learned pieces usable in a variety of situations.
Voicing: 2 Trumpets, 1 French Horn, 2 Trombones, 1 Tuba; includes substitute and optional parts.
Suggested Use: Christmas music for brass ensemble; useful for church services, church or school concerts, shopping malls, etc. Consider placing a brass ensemble outside the church to greet those arriving for a major Christmas concert or program if the weather allows. (If not, have them set up in the lobby or foyer.)
Performance Details: Core instrumentation includes trumpet 1 and 2, French horn, trombone 1 and 2, and tuba. Optional percussion parts, substitute parts, keyboard reduction, and conductor's score are included.
